Leys Farm Junior School have recently launched this brand new website. The new site offers much more flexibility than the previous one, and allows staff to add information themselves, including information about the work which will be done by their class, information about Educational visits and gallery items of children's completed work.

Bamburgh

Year 6 make a visit to Bamburgh each summer. This takes place over a weekend and is a wonderful opportunity for the children to have first hand experience for their work on The Vikings and a contrasting locality. They visit Bamburgh and its impressive castle, Seahouses, Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and Dunstanburgh Castle. It gives the children the opportunity to respond creatively and imaginatively to the historic and dramatic scenery and places.
