Discovery Centre
When Year 5 were studying Cleethorpes as part of Investigating Coasts and a Contrasting Locality they visited the Discovery Centre. At the Centre they were able to tour the foreshore with one of the wardens and take part in the activities in the Centre itself. In there they learned about some of the fish and other creatures which live on the beach and about the history of the seaside. They also looked out of the observation room across the expanse of the Humber towards Spurn Point.
