Fish Competition

    
We were fortunate to have a visit from Humber Seafood who gave a talk and a demonstration encouraging children to eat fish. A chef came and cooked two fish recipes for the children to sample. After the visit the children took part in a competition to design a fish dish which could be used in school meals. Several groups sent in entries and two groups were chosen to go forward to the regional final. After practising hard, they went to North Lindsey College to take part in the cooking final. At the end, when the judges gave their decision we were thrilled that one group had won and the other had come runner up.
The prize was a free trip for the whole class to The Deep in Hull..
