Jeff Rich, the drummer who played with Status Quo, visited our school and gave us an impressive demonstration of his skills. He told us about the history of drumming across the world and let several children play the instruments. Enderby Road Infant School children joined us for the second half, when he told us about his life as a rock musician and let more children play some of his kit. The morning ended with a fantastic solo performance by Jeff, followed by all the children and adults having an instrument and joining him in a performance. It was truly a morning which we will remember for a long time.
