Rugby Training
In 2005 we were pleased to be included in a Rugby Training Scheme which was organised by North Lincolnshire Council and Scunthorpe Rugby Club. Eighteen Year 6 children, boys and girls, took part in after-school training with a coach from the club. They learned handling the ball, passing and the rules of Tag Rugby and played mini-games each week. The five week course ended with a tournament against other schools. We took two teams and were proud that one of them won their group games. A very enjoyable project.
