Leys Farm Junior School

Welcome to our school website. We hope it will provide useful information for parents, children and visitors.

Leys Farm Junior School serves the West side of Bottesford, which is a growing town to the south of Scunthorpe. It is one of a number of schools in the area, and takes children mainly from three infant schools, Bottesford Infants, Enderby Road Infants and Riddings Infants. Most of the children go on to South Leys Business and Enterprise College and Leys Farm Junior forms part of the South Leys Cluster. The school is in the North Lincolnshire LEA, which has a supportive and friendly ethos.

We want all children to be happy and successful here and we aim to give the best possible education we can. We firmly believe that all children need to work from their experiences, have achievable goals and be in a friendly, caring and supportive environment where all are valued for the talents and strengths they bring.

We strive to achieve quality in everything we do in school: the children’s work, the work presented to them and the school environment. We are proud of our children’s achievements and the work of the staff team.

We want there to be a real partnership between parents, the children, the governors and the staff based on trust, honesty and realism. With this understanding and agreement we are sure all children will fulfil the potential they bring to us.
