On the eleventh of November it shall be Remembrance day, when we will remember all those people who got injured or killed during the war.
On the day we wear poppies and have 2 minutes silence to remember all those that lost their lives or served during the war.
The poppies represent the fields where some of the soldiers from the first world war fought because when the war was over there was poppies in the fields.

On the 5th of November it is bonfire night so remember to KEEP SAFE. Last year over 900 people required hospital treatment from accidents involving fireworks.
On bonfire night you have to remember some very important rules such as:
Only over 18’s are allowed d to buy the high explosive fireworks;
If you are given a sparkler wear gloves, hold it a arm’s length away from yourself also when you have finished with it, put it in a bucket of very cold water;
Never play with fireworks – they are high explosives, stand far back from the fireworks when watching them;
If a firework doesn’t go off don’t go near it because you could cause yourself some very bad damage;
So always stay safe on bonfire night.

Hope that everyone had a great Halloween.
It can be fun to go trick or treating but you have to be safe on the road in darkness because if you are wearing black or dark colours, people can not see you.
Always go with an adult or in a group, to make sure nothing happens to anyone. Always use the green cross code which means STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN.
