The Yr5’s will go on a coach at 12:45 and return to school at about 3:05. They will be doing science as  part of the super learning day, which will be great fun!

Also on the 21^st of May (Monday) the Yr5’s will be going again to take part in I.C.T, on the 23^rd of May (Wednesday) they will be going for the final time to take part in Music and Drama sessions.

We are sure the children will have a great time at all three visits, as children from previous years have had great fun.

This will really help the children know the danger when cycling on the road!

They must bring to each session, their bicycles and a helmet, and their attention.

The club is a good way to show your attitude and show what you’re made of. You can also learn new cheerleading moves like, high V, low V, dagger, T and lots more.

Eleanor from Yr5 said, “I think it’s a great club and I would definitely go again we do cool dances and new moves what I have never tried before.”

The cost is £15.00 for 5 weeks (£3.00 a session).      

Miss Jeannie will be holding it on Tuesday’s between 3:00 and 4:00pm.

One of the children said that it is a good way to act out their feelings and not to be afraid of the audience. Holly in Yr 3 said “She is an awesome teacher, lots of fun and doesn’t shout.”

Y5 and Y6 will be doing the Olympics as the Official Olympics is coming up soon.

Y4’s will be doing Spain, the activities that are planned are that they will be going to have a fiesta and parents will come in for some food.

Finally the Y3’s are doing the rainforest, they will be able to go to Far Inns and have caterpillars in there class room to watch them change into a butterfly.

It sounds like a great summer term for the whole school!

On Wednesday we will be selling some rice crispy cakes and the school will be having a bingo session.

On Thursday there will be a raffle with lots of Easter chocolate.

And on Friday it is non – uniform day and some of the acts from Leys Farm’s Got Talent will be doing their act in front of the school so they can be placed 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd.

School will finish at 2.30.

Yr 6 were the travel advisors and yr4 and 5 were customers.

Y4 and 5 went to different parts of the hall there were stalls; each stall was for a different destination. There was Turkey, Greece, Australia, Paris/France, Florida, Canada and Egypt.

The Yr6’S would have a destination to work at and the y4’s and 5’s would choose a destination to go to.

For sale there was tropical juice with a piece of pineapple on the side which was 20p; there was brioche with nutella on which was 30p.  

Everybody enjoyed the travel agent morning!
