Year 3/4 Visit to Cote Hill Farm

Year 3 and 4 visited Cote Hill Farm at Osgodby to learn about cheesemaking and to see the animals on the farm.   We are grateful to Mr & Mrs Davenport, the farmers for making this such a memorable visit for the children.   They saw the cows being milked and how the milk is turned into the famous Cote Hill Cheese.   Another highlight was to be able to look in the hen houses to collect the eggs.   Finally they were able to sit in the tractor which showed them how huge these are.

Welcome to all our children, their parents and visitors. Thank you for helping to raise £258 for Macmillan Cancer Support. As always, the Leys Farm Community work so hard for others. Our Harvest Festival is on 6 October. All food donated will go to support Scunthorpe Food Bank and their work to help less fortunate families in our town. Please help us to make our school as Nut Free as possible to support the safety of a pupil with a severe allergy.
