Year 6 visit to Grimsby

As part of their work about our area in the 1950s and 1960s, Year 6 visited the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby.   Here they are able to see reconstructions of the fishing industry and its people set in the 1950s.   They were also able to go on a tour of the "Ross Tiger", a trawler from the period.   This visit helped them to not only see what life was like then, but also how much traditional industries have changed.

Our team have won the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Young Environmentalist 2017 Award - well done to them! Information about support for families during the holiday is in our News Section. Thank you for helping us to raise £800 at the Summer Fair. Our Buddies are in the Diana Award Roll of Honour 2017. Thank you for donating so much food for the Food Bank - a car full! Such kindness.
