Enid Girling

It is with great sadness that we report the death of our former Chair of Governors, Enid Girling.   Enid gave a lifetime of service to Leys Farm Juniors, firstly as a lunchtime supervisor and then for many years School Secretary.   She was a School Governor for a very long time and became our Chair of Governors.   No school could have wished for a more committed, loyal and devoted Chair of Governors who always put the interests of our children first.   As Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher we knew Enid was always supportive and was a true "critical friend".   A very sad loss to our school and Enid will always be remembered with affection and great respect.
