Our Memory Garden has been created to make a quiet space where we can read, think and remember special times, places and people. We wanted to specially remember a very good friend of our school, Enid Girling, who worked here for many years and after her retirement was our Chair of Governors. She enjoyed seeing all the achievements of our school and was a great source of encouragement to staff and children alike. Sadly she passed away in the Autumn of 2014 and we are gradually planting those plants which we know Enid loved. The garden will develop and become more established over the coming years.
We have an arbour and planters
We have some stones to remember special people
The garden grew very well in the first summer
In November we quietly remember brave people
