We hosted a Polli:Nation network meeting
Holme Valley & Scawby/Hibaldstow joined us

Year 3/4 Potato Growing

All the children took a bucket and potato home
They weighed and measured them
They recorded weight, length, girth
They recorded using different apparatus
They worked together very well, sharing ideas


Mr & Mrs Szabo came to tell us about their bees
They had a special hive so we could see them
They told us how the bees make honey
We learnt why bees are so important
Smoke is used to pacify the bees
We saw the special beekeepers overall and facemask
They make the beeswax into small objects
